Kingston Odeon mums and babies screening

i receive the weekly email updates from the Odeon in Kingston, primarily to see what the mums and babies screening will be. Admittedly i don't go often but i am always rather disappointed by the choice of movies (either mindless sentimental drivel or action blockbusters which i am sure helps my 5-month old to relax). In fact, the cinema often forgets or fails to schedule a mums and babies movie every week.

I was, therefore, disappointed but not entirely surprised to see that this week's mums and baby movie 'Eat Pray Love' (a movie i do really want to see) is scheduled at 17:20 on Tuesday.

My initial reaction: 'they cannot be serious'! AIBU, or is this the last straw?

Are there any other mums in the Greater-Kingston area who would like to put a bit of fire up the Odeon's arse and get some decent mums and babies movies for the autumn?

YANBU. The Putney Odeon always had mums and babies screening at 10/11 am which was a much more reasonable time.

Not sure if Odeon cinemas are franchises or not. May be worth investigating as then they may listen more.

Why is 10am more sensible than 5pm. Depends what times you are free.

YABU if you can't go then don't go

Fairfield 09.. I see this thread is a few months old but I'm sooooo annoyed by this as well. My baby is now 3 months old and I really want to start going... And sometimes there is nothing scheduled!!

Who can we complain to?

YABU, the later time is better if you have other children you can leave with the OH.

Charlies mummy.. What if she has only 1 child, her first, and wants something to with the baby during the day so her DH can spend time with them in the evening?

I'm in the same situation, with the same cinema and tbh sometimes I find it all a bit lonely in the daytime without my DH :p that's when mother and baby stuff should be scheduled for.

YANBU

At all.
