aibu, to do nothing?

ds is at nursery, only started a few weeks ago, and this is the 1st day i have had nothing i had to do.
so since dropping him off, i have done nothing.
not a thing
well i lie, ive made tea and toast.
is it wrong for me to carry on doing this for the next 2 hours???????????

I am exactly the same atm but I dont feel well :( so think im allowed one day to sit down for an hr or 2 :) going to leave soon though as meeting a friend, then got to do the weekly food shop really cant be bothered today though :(

I have nothing planned for today - dont get me wrong there are things that I should be doing, but I am mning at the moment while drinking a nice strong coffee and eating toast. Not adviseable as toast crumbs are getting stuck in my keys.

sometimes you just have to do nothing, its scientific fact that if you don't give in to it your brain will melt and seep out your nose and ears! .... Its a medical necessity! Enjoy!

DD just started pre-school last week, I have spent just over an hour this morning playing computer games without any guilt at all. Although now that you mention it there are plenty of things that need doing, we moved a month ago and are only partially unpacked.

Half an hour on MN and another coffee and I might tackle a box or two.

well, i decided to make my time on the computer a productive time.
i shopped!

I went one beyond you, having DH drop DS off at daycare and going back to bed.

I just got up around 11, had something to eat and am thinking I am going to sit here, still in my PJs (I have showered, BTW), until about 115 when I will jump into my clothes and go pick my son up.

I should be working, but since I get paid by the hour I have no guilt about ignoring my work for one day.

I'm doing nothing as well today. And I refuse to give in to guilt. I do enough all week anyway, and it such bliss to be able to just sit onthe computer and munch my way through whatever tickles my fancy (have already gone through a packet of choc bikkies, sausages on toast and a punnet of raspberries and countless cups of tea). I fully intend to continue doing the same till I have to leave at 2.30 to pick dd up. Oh, unless I decide to decamp upstairs for a nap, that is

i did nothing yesterday and feel much better for it! got the 3 dc to where they had to be then went back to bed for 2 hours! woke up feeling like a new woman!

so DO NOT feel guilty! enjoy it!

I am having an easy day today as I did loads and I have done a fair bit this morning so now I am chilling until school pick up time.
