For myself, not dd's? Grin

That's it really!

Or at whispers 28 am I too old and in danger of turning into my mother in law who has about thirty soft toys on her bed?

I've got one you can have ... it has been in the cupboard since ds2 opened it and was clearly terrified.

and yes you are turning into your mother-in-law and you need to get a grip.

nickelbabe · 21/09/2010 12:27

you can't buy one though - on their own, they'renot available, and the book and toy pack is reprinting.
you'll have to take up muddleduck's offer! Grin

DastardlyandSmugly · 21/09/2010 12:30

going · 21/09/2010 12:41

Plenty f Gruffalo toys in john lewis The soft oty is very cute!

SloanyPony · 21/09/2010 12:43

Does it have purple prickels all over its back, though? If so, not very cuddly.

Knobbly knees and turned out toes means they take up lots of room in bed too.

Oh you didn't mean a blow up one, sorry.

SloanyPony · 21/09/2010 12:43

My bad.

BuntyPenfold · 21/09/2010 12:48

They are in Waterstones.

nickelbabe · 21/09/2010 12:52

oooh! it's a big one in Hamley's.

I thought that they were only avavilable from the publisher - looks like they've given the licence out.

I'm going to have to do some hunting....

Hooferoo · 21/09/2010 12:52

Yes. I bought one for DS#2 after lusting after it myself. Sadly he loves it so I don't get a look in. Only bought the small one though due to ouchyness of the price.

DD likes to cuddle hers while we read the books. The prickles are soft.

Shoshe · 21/09/2010 13:36

The mindees are having half an hour quiet time while the babies sleep and are watching the gruffalo, with all THREE gruffalo toys Grin

Shoshe · 21/09/2010 13:37

Bathsheba · 21/09/2010 15:42

TheGrumpalo · 21/09/2010 15:48

Ooh so am I too old? lol

I think they're great but I was shocked when I went to visit my dad and saw all the soft toys on their bed! I don't want to end up like that, worse than cushions!

nickelbabe · 21/09/2010 17:25

pigletmania · 21/09/2010 18:30

2blessed2bstressed · 24/09/2010 16:29

There's a gruffalo soft toy in the new Christmas Next directory, and a duvet set too - that could be a step too far though Smile

stealthpony · 24/09/2010 17:02

Hehehehe! I got one "for the kids" a few months ago. They're not allowed near it, he lives in the kitchen on the shelf and wears my sunglasses so I don't lose them.

He's the coolest mother fuckin' 'falo in town, yo.
