Ah... you were lucky to get a feminist supermarket trolley.... i.e. one with a mind of its own

VinegarTits · 20/09/2010 13:34

thats what you get for shopping a Twatco

Can never find a decent trolley at my local Tesco. All but one of the baby carrier trolleys were broken and have now been removed. If you go and ask for one you get told 'sorry but someone must be using it already'. An attendant working on the Tesco car park told me they have loads at morrisons just down the road Grin.

Also had an incident at Asda where one of the wheels just fell off the trolley while I was picking out some fruit. I just caught sight of it falling over out the corner of my eye and turned to grab it. Good job I caught it as my child was sat in the baby seat!

daymonkey · 20/09/2010 14:07

the trolleys at sainsbos are often crap too, ime. They have 'please fix me' signs that you can hang on them, but all that results in is them being taken off to the trolley graveyard on the lower floor of the car park and not replaced. It's often difficult to find a trolley at all, never mind a decent one.

oneofthosedays · 20/09/2010 15:17

I turned up at Asda today and they had a whole fleet of brand new trolleys, the others were dirty, bashed up and shite, I was so pleased I mentioned it to DS while we were heading in to do the shopping!
