Whats made you snort food?

Sat at table eating chicken curry and rice with DS 6.03.

Radio was on and the news comes on talking about the twitter messages re help for heroes joke. DS says to me 'we don't know the army do we?'

ME: 'we don't know anyone in the army, no'

DS: 'thats because they're secret, they hide and come out and shoot people'

Having dinner with my four-year-old niece one night we were talking about something or other (can't remember the subject) and all of a sudden she came out with the following:

"oh that's getting right on my tits!"

I was at her coming out with it but orange juice came out of my nose, I was laughing that hard!

(disclaimer: it wasn't me she got that from!)

I find it funny when they say funny things without meaning to be funny.

Last night, actually. Just taken a mouthful of soup when I caught the news report about the catholic cardinal (or whatever he is) calling the UK a third world country. It couldn't have been funnier if he'd added... 'GIRLS! FECK!! ARSE!!!'

Yesterday I sprayed coffee everywhere whilst reading the "coat/present/15years ago" thread if that counts! Hilarious
I liked the Third World comment too Chil123.

Is that thread still going? I posted about 5 days ago when it started !!!

Strangely, I was thinking yesterday about the MNer who inadvertently snorted half an omelette up her nose and it got stuck in her sinuses. She posted asking for advice on how to dislodge it. Who was that?

Just wanted to start a lighthearted thread about funny things as there been lots of very argumentative and sometimes quite rude thread as of late.

Then along comes Misswoowoo with what seems like a rude post - will it never end !!??

Although will admit I like reading and sometimes posting on the heated debates

not a rude post at all! Perhaps I misunderstood? I was asking if you need a lie down mumbar because you asked if the thread was still going and that you posted 5 days ago - the thread started the day before so I thought perhaps you had lost all track of time/your mind/somesuch

Oh misswoowoo - quite possible I lost all sense of time days just seem to roll into one here intermittent with DS random comments.
