tax credits helpline

I have been trying to get through to tax credits helpline tryed all different times of the day.You get all the press this now rubbish and eventually sorry try again later we are very busy does anyone know is there a tme they arent and why on earth it costs so much the least they could do is make it free The number ive got is 08453003909 no i cant do it on the internet havent got my own computer and maths isnt my strong point wanted to talk to a person

Hi, try this number 01355 359007. This number was posted on a previous thread. I used it and got through straight away. However, be warned some others on MN have tried it and have been told that it is for international callers only, or they can only use this number once.

Anyway try it and see how you get on..If in doubt plead ignorance.
