DD (8) - concert choir (straight after school) then to Dancing paid for); football (at school)then tea then brownies; swimming

She also does violin and will be doing brass instrument in school - whihc will need practice at home - that is 5 mins a day!!

DS (3) does an active totz class on a saturday

We used to do more, but it gets too expensive and I also think at the age 7 - 9 they start changing what they want to do.

DS1 - 18 - Nothing, he works f/t

DS2 - 16.5 - Nothing he is doing a levels and has a p/t job

DD - 8 - Just started Yr4 -
Piano on a Thursday.
She used to have a weekly 1hr horseriding lesson up until last summer but it petered out (my fault mainly down to our weekend plans at the time). We'll try and get back into it. She is keen so it's a case of me getting it sorted again. This thread has reminded me to motivate my lazy carcass to sort it....
She does swimming once a week with the school on a Tuesday.

FrogPrincess · 15/09/2010 14:21

dd (11) does 1 hour after school theatre club, bass guitar, singing, girls' choir, orchestra, band practice, all at school.

Out of school, she does 2 hours of theatre group, cello, and 3 hours saturday orchestra.

yep, she loves music and drama.

blackisthisyearspink · 15/09/2010 14:24

DD has just persuaded me to up her activities.

Previously she did 3 hours of Stagecoach (drama, dance singing)and 45 mins of ballet

Plus gardening club after school

She has now added tap and modern 45 mins each to her schedule but I have made her drop gardening. She does some stuff at school at lunchtime too.

As I said above they have the opportunity to try out lots of different sports.

CerealOffender · 15/09/2010 14:26

My dd is 10. She does netball and drama.
Ds is 7. He does rugby, guitar and football

LIZS · 15/09/2010 15:14

Sorry I'm still bemused at thought of a 20 month old doing extra curricular activities, let alone encouraging a preschooler to play drums!

dd (9) Brownies, Church choir, 4 dance lessons(at school), 2 music lessons, after school club (varies by term)

ds(12) sailing, and occasionally climbing, after school club, music lesson

SixtyFootDoll · 15/09/2010 15:18
