Yanbu, they look unisex to me Smile.

I don't think they are too boyish, in fact I think they are fab and may purchase them for both DD's.

Maybe if when wearing them together have DD in a skirt rather than both in jeans? But YANBU, they are lovely.

borderslass · 13/09/2010 19:57

Personally I think most converse are unisex.

I like them - I gave my neighbours DD some bluish coloured plimsols yhis summer I bought for DS but they rubbed him badly (a bit between sizes then I think)also bought him £2 crocs that were Navy in a supermarket and she wanted matching ones Grin They looked cute playing together in matching shoes.

YANBU.

phew, i was begining to wonder, they are in boys and girls section in next directory so next say its ok haha.

i love them, but not as much as the dcs do, they are really excited to have the same.

look fine to me (but then my DS has been known to walk the streets in pink sparkly wellies, so I may not be the best judge of such things)

My DS and DD (4.2 and 2.10) have days when they like to wear things which are the same or similar, am sure they would love to both have those shoes.

TantPis · 13/09/2010 21:19

They're fab, I love them. DS1 has outgrown his dark red converse and as for once they're not completely worn out, I'm saving them for DD when her feet get big enough. Converse are unisex IMO.

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 13/09/2010 22:37

desert, my ds would love pink sparkly wellies, unfortunatly dd is younger so he cant cram his feet into hers having said that she has yellow ones that were ds's lol

i think my mum only commented as i keep dd very girly girl so it wasnt something i guess shed normally have, im considering getting ds the next size up since dd will have his when he outgrows, but that would never end really.

No, they will look great on both of them.

bellavita · 14/09/2010 10:39

Ooh how lovely are those Smile

My 6 yr old DD is delighted when her 10 yr old brother grows: 'Oh, has X grown out of those blue shorts/ red t-shirt/ green fleece now? Great, now they're mine!'

And even at their ages, they like matching stuff, even if it's just that they've both got green wellies. The boots are lovely, for boys and girls, and they'll adore being alike.
