fron beneath a pile of junk mail/ receipts/ ice cube tray/ other crap which has now been binned and discovered picture wire in the bottom along with some lots of dust. When I went to put it in the man drawer, I only discover the notepad and pens I have been looking for for 3 weeks.(I've been mainly eating fridged fruit because of the heat which is why I didn't worry about the fruit bowl)

I have also just found my veg peeler. Along with a dozen sprouting potatoes that DH kindly put into the slow cooker bowl before putting it away. I found it an hour ago when I got it out to use the slow cooker.

I asked him if he knew where it might be, he said he hadn't seen it. AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

He'd said he cleaned the kitchen. I try not to nag- he's 38 years old and he did clean the surface and do the dishwasher, but honestly.

that made me chuckle. Typical, well-meaning man.

I can only dream of having a fruit bow. The only fruit that gets eaten in this house is tinned mango and ditto lychee. We do eat more than our fair share of veg thoughGrin

We have a bowl that is specifically reserved for crap stuff like ID badges, random pens, screwdrivers, phone chargers, batteries and so on.
This has the advantage of leaving the fruit bowl free for fruit, which then sits in there looking at us accusingly until we throw it out because it has gone mouldy eat it.

HAHAHA.......... the last bit of scoring out didn't work and now it just looks stupid Blush
I'll get the hang of this posting thing yet!!

My fruit bowl has a tape measure, umbrella & some necklaces in it. The bananas sit beside it! It is a very nice fruit bowl, its in the shape of a wooden turtle.

but this isn't just any bowl. It's a Waterford crystal fruitbowl that was one of my mother's wedding gifts which she passed to me when I moved out of home!!

We have a stairbasket fpr the crap.
