I love my three dearly. Honestly I do. However, they are just so... repetitive at times. I mean, peek a boo is only entertaining for so long. Thomas the Tank Engine has a limited appeal for me. Dora, for me, is just not acceptable dinner convo, and I honestly wish dd1 did not see peppa as a role model... And i only allow very limited viewing. Yes, they are wonderful, funny children and I adore their pudgy fingers... But it's so tiresome sometimes. AIBU??

To elaborate, some of my friends seem to find EVERYTHING their babies do scintillating, but I really do feel like I only find the genuinely unusual stuff fascinating. Don't get me wrong, I feel enormous relief at milestones. I just don't get excited every time they scratch their little heads.

Heh you sound like me - I too have 3, one is obsessed with Dora another requested a T the TE story tonight and another is so fixated on Star Wars that he manages to turn most conversations onto the topic of the Darkside and who is scarier Darth Vader or Count Dooku???... [yawn] I am constantly pestered regarding my opinions on Han Solo since admitting I fancied liked him best!
