I know I know!

Shadow is a Shep x Collie.

(Sorry Sun, I just had to!). :o

Of course YANBU.

hatwoman · 09/09/2010 22:21

of course not. it's a close run thing in the hat house at times...though I sometimes fear that dd (dog not daughter) loves him more than he loves me. we are caught in a bizarre love triangle.

thesunshinesbrightly · 09/09/2010 22:24

Grin You beat me to it!

Val - i thought not Wink

Loyal
Protective
house trained
Doesnt pinch all the quilt
The list of why i love my dog more is endless!!

Also i enjoy spending time with the dog just me and him - yep i think i have a problem and past the stage of help Hmm

YANBU

My darling dog is perfection: beautiful, kind, loving, funny and just gorgeous!

I have recently been made redundant and things are a bit difficult for me. Dog has been a constant; providing licks, putting darling head on knee and looking up at me with adoring amber eyes, making me go out for walkies and just being lovely.

I think like you sunshine. No need of any help Wink as no help can help!

YANBU at all. I love all three of my cats (I'm practising for when I'm a mad old cat lady) much more than I will ever love my alleged DP. Even the smelly little kitten who f*rts like nothing on earth and irritates me enormously comes up higher on the list Grin

thesunshinesbrightly · 09/09/2010 23:11

Drfayray - sorry to hear that :( they have the abilty to make you feel so much better when your down.. i much more prefer company in the furry variety.

Beer - great! thought i was alone!
(apart from Vallhala obviously)

Belle - great mind's think alike.

plasticspoon · 09/09/2010 23:21

Ooh, YANBU at all. Dh would say exactly the same (guess who gets the attention in our house) but at least we're both honest about it :o

thesunshinesbrightly · 09/09/2010 23:24

Plasticspoon - lol. Dogs are so much more grateful.

I'm starting to wonder why i even have a partner Confused.

OP posts:
plasticspoon · 09/09/2010 23:25

To look after the dog when you need to go out?

thesunshinesbrightly · 09/09/2010 23:35

Ahhh i knew he had some use thanks plastic Wink

No need to brag, ruby Wink

hatwoman · 10/09/2010 09:32

pmsl at plasticspoon's reason for having a partner. I am bereft today. dh and dd have gone off to Wales leaving me all alone. it's awful.

EdgarAllInPink · 10/09/2010 09:40

Yanbu.

my dog is wholly incapable of embrassing me in company, farting like a trooper, or stealing the duvet and never* moans if i want to go for a long walk.

*hers are silent but deadly.

WitchyWooWoo · 10/09/2010 09:41

hmm im thinking of a spin off thread AIBU to prefer the company of pets more than that of humans.

YANBU btw, my doggie didn't snap at me when i walk in front of the tv and make a comment about my bum :P is it unfair to rehome dh?
