I ordered a Sagem Galaxy S mobile phone from mobile.co.uk on this Sunday evening.

I ordered from this company because they were offering the best deal on this particular mobile and they promised on their website ( and it still is there, I've just checked ), " guaranteed free next day delivery ".

I was notified yesterday evening that the phone would not be with as they had no stocks and I would be receiving the phone from them " very shortly", when the next consignment arrives.

I presume it is too late to cancel this order and enter into a new contract with a different phone, and besides the terms and free phone were what I
Has any other MumsNetters had a similar experience with this company.

They're is no contact telephone number, all communication is done by email; my queries have not beem answered so far, I just get ( another ) automated message by return giving me ( another ) reference number, grrr! (angry)

Don't know of the company, but under distance selling regulation you can cancel a contract within 7 days of receiving the item, or sooner of course..assuming you can get hold of them.

If they guarantee next day delivery, and didn't tell you they were out of stock when you placed the order, then I think you should be able to cancel the order and get a full refund.
