that claims ones' underarm skin has "three fundamental rights", is not only a load of bollocks, but fucking annoying too?

Is that the one with all the naked people?

I dunno, there are some quite good looking chaps in the ad

massivemammaries · 06/09/2010 12:45

would be better if there was a bit more graphic nudity lol (free porn on tv advertising is a fundamental human right, is it not?)

Oh YANBU!
The one that annoys me is the Ariel Stain Remover ad.

Um, forgive me, but if Ariel Excel Gel is 'designed to clean brilliantly from as low as 15 degrees' (the nice man with beans on his white t-shirt putting it in the machine then taking it out sparklingly clean) then why on earth do Ariel think I need a bloody stain remover product?

massivemammaries · 06/09/2010 12:58

I've always liked - "For daily damage, use VO5 Hot Oil"

Or the one for the moisturiser where the woman talks very gravely and knowingly about the 'pentapeptides' in it. Ooh, it's got a made-up sciency sounding thingy in it-ladies, rush out and buy!

maighdlin · 06/09/2010 13:29

i find the whole concept of "rights" a pile of bollocks anyway. no one has rights without responsibilities, they are extremely unfair in cases, and they can be taken away at any time. hardly something to depend on.

Anyway thats a different matter altogether.

I hate most adverts.

massivemammaries · 06/09/2010 13:38

@maighdlin ..... my underarm skin is very concerned that it might find itself devoid of rights in the near future
