To be mad at being turned down for life insurance

I thought I was being all responsible applying for life insurance now I'm 32 weeks pregnant so went through Legal and General who advertise for new /pregnant mums through Bounty.

They've just notified me I've been knocked back as my doctor's report showed I've had 1 urine test with a slight amount of protein in it. The doc said that this was normal at the time and within expected boundaries (I've since had 2 tests with no protein in). Am I right to be mad that a company advertising to pregnant women has tuned me down for a non-problematic pregnancy related thing especially as I now have to declare I've been turned down if I apply to another company?

Can you get your doctor to write a letter explaining the results, and ask them to reassess? We're currently applying for LA through an IFA, and he's been really helpful - might be worth trying one of those if you get no joy with L&G.
