With being out working full time, so many people feel sorry for me, but i am actually enjoying being part of the adult world again after a year at home with the baby... Don't know how long i can keep going through the motions of nodding when people say i must be devastated at leaving...

YANBU.
Being a SAHM is not for everyone. I went back to work when my PFB was 5.5 months. I missed her for the first day and after that just got on with work and enjoyed her before and after.
Back p/t at 9 months with #2, same thing.
Don't nod, just say I've loved it but I am enjoying being back too.
You are more than just a mother, don't feel there's anything wrong in being your own person too Smile

YANBU. I work part time, and I love the fact that I can drop my children off at breakfast club, have a rewarding career that fits in nicely with my childcare (teaching) and be there to pick up my children from school every day.

I thoroughly enjoy being with my children, being able to take them to their after school clubs etc, but I also thoroughly enjoy teaching, and wouldn't give it up for anything.

I have found something that works for me - and if you have found something that works for you - then great!
