"Herewww.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1308603/Celine-Dion-shows-baby-bump-dismisses-pregnancy-complications-claims.html"

Looking at the pictures she looks like a healthy pregnanct woman, and a very normal size, especially as she is expecting twins.

So why describe her in such a way that it makes out her size is shocking?????

No wonder I am getting so many comments about how huge I am - even though I am 7 months gone and have a much smaller bump than her!!!!!

Because it's the Daily Mail.

Sorry but yabu (if hormonal as well) - it also says she's glowing and how healthy she's feeling, and that's she's "showing off" her baby bump (implying she's happy she has a bump).

I think this is more a problem of how you feel about people saying you look huge rather than about the daily mail, and ime people say that you have a big bump because they think that's what pregnant women want to here (I for one was glad for a big bump because it meant I looked pregnant rather than fatter than usual Grin)

It's the Daily Mail. All their writers are always bastardly misogynistic twunts. Take no notice.

I thought it was quite a pleasant article considering its the DM

Fizzywinelover · 03/09/2010 10:13

I think the word 'huge' is not terribly nice in the article, becuase 'huge' is usually said with negative connotations, but otherwise it is a really positive article, strangely for the Daily Mail.

Nancy66 · 03/09/2010 10:13

it's DM online - not the newspaper. Will have been written by a 19 year old on £40 a week

giantpurplepeopleeater · 03/09/2010 10:13

Yes teeny - hormonal Smile

At first I found it funny but now it's a little grating - I can't fathom why people say it - as if they think I don't have a mirror and cannot see exactly what size I am!!!!

But its also the shock of it for some people. As if it's a big surprise. Especially from thos women who have already had a child!!!

My stock response now is "Yes. There is another person living in there at the moment!" Wink

Oh, and I must be doing something wrong - I normally love the daily mail Blush it gives me a good laugh and an easy read. Maybe I need to change my reading habits!!!
