to cackle when DH said he was taking the weekend 'off' to look after kids

I know a change is as good as a holiday and all that, but really...

DH was away last weekend, and I am away this weekend. We usually share childcare as he works around the home (farmer) and I work from home - last weekend was certainly not a holiday for me!

Ach well, he is young...he will learn! [evil grin]

Technically if he's not going to be working then he is right in saying he has the weekend off to look after the children.

Depends on your job, many are far harder than being home with children.
