live in reading, just been to the park and had to dodge many unsavory, half drunk, hungover or even still sleeping festival goers.
So glad they are fecking off today.
im sure i there are nice people that go, but seriously, they do piss me right off.

yes, there are not that many positives living here and the annual invasion definatley impacts on what should be a slightly nicer weekend as we all have it off together.
DS has had to sleep in my bed all this weekend as you can hear word for word each song from his room,, and the kitchen.
im just glad they've gone, although im sure it will take at least a week to clear their rubbish from by the river. nice.

Do you mean Rivermead park?..why go there when you know the 'hangers on' will still be around?Confused...i used to live on Oxford road in Reading and loved the festival..it's on once a year,if you don't like it go away for the weekend, and the music isn't on all night....my only gripe with the festival was the bloody Police helicopter hanging around over our heads for hours.I live in Bournemouth now and the rubbish the tourists leave behind on the beaches is dreadful...it's the same everywhere...Certainly i would have thought that the festival was the main positive of living in Reading, think how much your DS will love it in a few years!!Grin
