To only drink champagne?

Every time I drink wine, I get a really red, hot face and chest (this has only started happening post ds - no idea why).

Anyway DH bought some champagne for our anniversary and I seem to be fine!

So guess what I'll only be drinking from now on?

It's a hard life......Grin

English sparkling is lovely, as is Prosecco which is the Italian take on it.

Good champagne is delicious. We buy from a couple of small-ish producers, we go over and buy enough to last us a year, and the quality is hugely better than anything you can buy in the supermarkets or off-licences here unless you are spending £35+ a bottle.

Also try prosecco - nicer than cava, cheaper than champagne

Prosecco is lovely if it's not a cheap nasty one. A good Moscato can be a truly delightful experience.

YANBU.

I have come to the coclusion that when drinking alcohol, champagne or cocktails are the only things worth drinking. Sadly, that appears to be expensive and lead to hangovers

There is no yeast in champagne so drink away.

I can only drink champagne, prosecco or cocktails as well, and even then, a cosmopolitan or a sea breeze, not a creamy one....

Oh I like the sound of that pink champers..

Hard life indeed Grin

Agree with zazen - not a fan of creamy cocktails, or really fruity ones.

My current fave is the mojito.
