me too.
to cold and wet and house is full of washing that needs to dry before tonight...

kreecherlivesupstairs · 27/08/2010 08:42

I'd love to put ours on, but don't know how to work it Blush. Not because I am a dopey laydee, rather, we had a new boiler put in and the instructions for the heating are in Dutch and French and I can't read either. Will have to wait till my DH comes home from work.

sanielle · 27/08/2010 08:44

YANBU, my DH would disagree however.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 27/08/2010 08:45

WHere are you all? Im in the South and its a bit miserable outside but not even a little bot cold... Envy i want it to be cold and proper Autumn/Winter.

iwasyoungonce · 27/08/2010 08:46

YANBU. Just put mine on half hour ago...... ooh it's lovely and cosy in here now!

P.S. I'm South East and it is bloody cold outside!

I'm in Belgium. It is its usual soggy (and chilly) self.

sanielle · 27/08/2010 09:07

E Anglia, here. So in that case you are DNBU! Its been raining for days! and cold Angry

I just want to alert mother nature to the fact it is ausgust. Has she got an email address, do you reckon?

mousymouse · 27/08/2010 09:18

maybe try here

malovitt · 27/08/2010 09:23

I've just put mine on for an hour - feel a bit guilty though, as it's August.

Morloth · 27/08/2010 09:27

London here and I was considering it to try to drive out some of the damp.

Rindercella · 27/08/2010 09:31

Sun's come out here! Yippee. After God knows how many days of rain, it's a blessed relief to see it (esp as we have 50 odd people coming for a bbq on Monday!).

But I don't think YABU for putting the heating on - it's been bloomin' cold.

Tas1 · 27/08/2010 12:18

I put the heating on for 1/2hr yesturday, to take the chill off, I was frozen and the house felt damp after all the rain.

DastardlyandSmugly · 27/08/2010 12:28

I thought about it yesterday but it's bloody August I just can't.

Although I may this afternoon just to warm the house as potential buyer is coming over.

addictedisgettingexcited · 27/08/2010 12:31

it was on for an hour yesterday and an hour this morning, i feel so guilty turning it on in august tho. Mother nature definatly needs to go back to school and learn about the seasons!

sapphireblue · 27/08/2010 13:06

I'm considering putting mine on to get some washing dry! I could use the tumble dryer but it's bloody noisy and irritating........
