... Exsqueeze me? Baking powder?

Colleague. STOP fucking banging on about it. I do NOT want to do a diet that restricts me to 500 cals a day with no food. You weigh 9 stone... PLEASE stop worrying about your weight.

Oh God I know exactly what you mean!

I have a male friend who does this diet before every holiday, occasion etc (which I'm sure is not the way its supposed to be done?) He loses over a stone in a couple of weeks and then binges and puts it all back on.

His opinion on my sensible but (very!) slow weight watchers diet is 'oh I cant be bothered with only losing a pound a week. whats the point?'

well, you nob...the point is that three months down the line, I am a stone less, and you are half a stone more!

BTW i am not gloating about how wondefully slim i now am. Still have about 4 stone to go!!!

ARGH! it drives me fucking crazy! Your body needs 1300 calories a day to function. 500 calories puts you in starvation mode. doing this repeatedly fucks your metabolism.

(not speculation cambridge types, sorry)

drives me fucking mental though. If I dare eat a sandwich at lunch I get told off.

ignore them then, buy cream cakes for your lunch and savour them in front of your colleague while looking smug, they will be dying inside

I do go via M&S local on my way to work. I always feel like buying the tubs of flapjacks/chocolate cakes to fuck up her diet.
