I think that you lot are really uncaring and ignorant. I have read a thread where nearly all the mums have maybe a young girl feel unwanted and then went on to bitch about it.

I hope that your children become young parents so you know how it feels because you have some sort of problem with it. I think that use need to get a life and think about others. why not have a young parent section?

If it would help a lot of young parents relate to each other.

I think you all need to have a good look in the mirror.

OH by the way I love NETMUMS and the tickers Smile

Awwww, thanks, huns!

I hope he'll be fine. He does make the world's worst patient though. As I said, my poor mum.

Does it have to be 7.30 for wine o'clock??

This thread has been fabby and threads like it are one of the many reasons why I heart MN.
Grin

Morloth · 24/08/2010 17:09

Awkwardly pats PacificDogwood on the back...

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 17:13

Hope your dad is OK, hun. ((hugs))

SparkleRainbow · 24/08/2010 17:33

7.30 as a guideline not a statutory requirement, responsible adults can set own times..... no need for nanny state. 5.35 is looking good to me.

Booboobedoo · 24/08/2010 17:38

'You are not the Rosetta-fucking-Stone'.

That is one of the funniest things I've read all year.

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 17:39

G&Ts in the Hon Cupboard

BTW, is it MN or NM to refer to shagging as "baby-dancing". Is that allowed here? Just trying to establish the rules.

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 17:42

Lambrini and blu WKD in the huns cupboard Grin

PacificDogwood · 24/08/2010 17:42

AbsOfCroissant · 24/08/2010 17:46

What happened to the OP?

cupcakesandbunting · 24/08/2010 17:48

I think she had to go and hang round in a bus shelter, whilst smoking in close proximity to her child's pushchair.

Ooooh, I'm going to get butt-kicked for that!

CatPower · 24/08/2010 17:49

CatPower · 24/08/2010 17:51

cupcakesandbunting said "I think she had to go and hang round in a bus shelter, whilst smoking in close proximity to her child's pushchair."

...in a dressing gown outside the maternity ward for added "glamma", surely?

PacificDogwood · 24/08/2010 17:52

Oooh, I lurvve a good cliche Grin.

CatPower · 24/08/2010 17:54

PD - I have witnessed that (for real). Gave me the boke.

PacificDogwood · 24/08/2010 17:57

Oh, yes, so have I... Clichees (?sp) are there for a reason

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 17:57

I've seen it with Coke. Was on the bus and saw a group of three mums, one fed coke to her teeny wobbly-head stage baby. Another mum objected and she said "It's OK, he doesn't have teeth yet".Confused

That's why I likes me cupboard. Fewer weasel-brains in here.

StuckInTheMiddleWithYou · 24/08/2010 18:00

If we ever have a filter of any kind, it should be set up solely to filter out "babydancing".

SparkleRainbow · 24/08/2010 18:01

Hugs for CatPower

ShadeofViolet · 24/08/2010 18:01

I was watching Xfactor at the weekend - when that 'Release Me' lady came on with her daughter, the first thing I noticed was that the DD had squash in a bottle.

SparkleRainbow · 24/08/2010 18:01

Wine for me Grin

Tippychoocks · 24/08/2010 18:04
