YANBU. But I think it's blokes who really like her. My DH has a little crush on her, even though he denies it, but whenever he chances upon Yvette and her haunty show he suspends his disbelief and watches, rapt. I am personally mesmerised by her immovable hair, whatever style she happens to have it coiffed into. As it were.

She's nowhere near as annoying as that Sally Medium lady. She really bothers me for some reason.

all those camera shots looking up thier own noses, they are so busy shrieking did you see that and screaming they forget to point the camera at the important bits ie the actual rooms they are supposed to be investigating.

i love it. yvette and derek made the best team. they were hilarious. i particularly loved derek's extremely far-fetched dialogues with his dead mate sam. yvette's hysterics made me pmsl every time.

well of course you aren't going to see anything piglet. they are making a program about a load of complete bollocks?! that's why it is so funny. i think it is fantastic how incredibly earnest they try to be about the whole thing. i think yvette puts it on a bit, but she is truly scared and a bit suggestible really. derek on the other hand, is just an unscrupulous charlatan.

edam - I think that the story goes that they had started to suspect that Deggsy was only 'talking' and finding out stuff that they had already told him in the research notes. So they planted a few false stories to test him. He then came up with the same stories via his spirit guide so they sacked him. That's Yvette's side of the story anyway (I think so, it was ages ago).

Its a bit bizarre though cos obviously its all a load of old crap so its all made up?

When you see her interviewed, Yvette is very likeable.

I watched a repeat of 3-in-a-bed yesterday and one of the guest houses had ghost hunting as part of the stay.

They had the poor people up until silly-o-clock going "is there anybody there" into machines and got the reply "GET OUT"

I'd have ran for the hills and still been running if I'd had the misfortune to stay there

theCoalition - idiots is a bit harsh. Vulnerable, gullible? I used to work with someone who lost his wife very suddenly. He was devasted and went to many people in order to try and contact her. He desperately wanted to say goodbye. He was no idiot just very vulnerable, desperate and grief stricken. Strangley though everyone single one who said they could speak to her he dismissed as a load of rubbish but he still carried on going.

Most Haunted isn't the manipultive side of the 'industry' though, its just a bit of entertainment.
