I think poundland do those jars.

SecretNutellaFix · 19/08/2010 21:28

WE've just had Angel Delight and the gasses are the perfect size for that.

Buncho · 19/08/2010 21:32

I think they make great drinking glasses. As do those glasses that come with scented candles inside! Perfect size and thin rimmed :)

Ninjacat · 19/08/2010 21:43

Blush when I first read this it was the larger size jar that came to mind, thought "what an odd thing to use". Then the penny dropped Blush

Like the idea of your kids drinking from big bulbous nutella jars though Grin

nannynick · 19/08/2010 21:57

Wonder if they would ever consider doing the larger versions in a glass - maybe a Pint glass!

marriednotdead · 19/08/2010 22:00

We use the tops too; they fit rather nicely on open tins of evaporated milk that dh insists on having in his tea...

CarmenSanDiego · 19/08/2010 22:12

There's a diner here where they serve soft drinks in huge jam jars.

So big American style glasses of soda/iced tea with stacks of ice and big straws... in jam jars Grin

nearlytoolate · 19/08/2010 22:18

I can't believe you are asking this! and 'just for the children, of course' ...ROFL
What on earth is the problem?

TrillianAstra · 19/08/2010 22:21

Is this the equivalent of collecting the Gu ramekins?

BrittanyBeers · 19/08/2010 22:31

I use my one for drinking wine out of sometimes.

megapixels · 19/08/2010 22:42

Well that's what they are for so YANBU. I have one that I store chillie flakes in (with the lid on of course).

whomovedmychocolate · 19/08/2010 22:45

We use ours to hold tealights in for the garden. And the plastic tops are perfect for popping on a can of catfood if you only give the mangy bugger half for breakfast and the rest of supper. :)

Of course you do know they are also the perfect size for spider catching and examination by small people don't you?

fartmeistergeneral · 19/08/2010 22:47

I presumed that was the point of them!?? We have loads (glutton), all now drinking glasses!

seeker · 19/08/2010 22:49

They are designed to be used as drinking glasses - that's why they are that shape!

SecretNutellaFix · 19/08/2010 22:51

nearlytoolate- Nutella is most certainly too good not just for children.

birdofthenorth · 19/08/2010 23:57

We do too!

Mermaidspam · 19/08/2010 23:59

We use them here too!

seasalt · 20/08/2010 00:00

We do that as well, have lots of them.

Valpollicella · 20/08/2010 00:34

Drinking out of one right now Grin

In Italy, when I lived there they were marketed as dual purpose pretty much...get your Nutella (which the Italians are crazy about) and voila...another glass for your collection

RespectTheDoughnut · 20/08/2010 00:41

Am I the only one who's never seen one of these before? Blush

chocolatefroggie · 20/08/2010 00:51

keep the lids, I make yoghurt at home in these and once it's set pop the lids back on put it in the fridge and voila, lovely Smile

pissedrightoff · 20/08/2010 01:00

Grrr have just changed tomorrows tesco order to include a jar of nutella, I am so easily led.

Morloth · 20/08/2010 09:57

G ramekins are annoying. I have so many of the bloody things. Must stop buying puddings. Grin

MrsBadger · 20/08/2010 09:58
