Where I lived when I was a student there was a lovely cafe where you could do just that - popping out for tea was less than a fiver - and they had the kinds of things you want to eat. Fishfinger sandwiches, sausage and mash, sausage and chips. Was fab. And that was only 13 years ago so not really in the Dark Ages!

Also, Sophie's mummy is much sexier than Mrs Thomas in the Mog books but daddy Thomas looks the same as Sophie's daddy. Do you think that mr Thomas left Mrs Thomas and then got together with Sophie's mummy?
