Update re PND/ being a new parent..

Just to let the fab people who were so helpful when my DD had raging colic know that-touch wood- we've turned a corner. We changed the top up formula and introduced the anti colic baby massage as suggested and there have been no major incidents since. Hooray!
I just wanted to thank those of you who were so supportive and informative at a time I thought I was going to end up being committed.

I wasn't one of them but that's brilliant! Glad she is better and hopefully you are enjoying being a family so much more now.
How old is she?

She's 3 months old next week-first much longed for baby, born 2 days after i turned 40..

More than I could have imagined...which is just as well, as when the colic was raging it was difficult to appreciate how lucky I am.Now that things are settling down, we're all much more content!

I think we all think that - colic or not!
I remember someone telling me when I was first pregnant "don't wish his life away" - she was right and I think of that advice loads, but it is easy for people to say that whose children are grown! It's so easy to slip into "when he's 3m...when he's weaned...when he's one"

That's it exactly-I was really lucky at my age to be able to have her, but nothing I read prepared me for the drudgery and insanity that comes with the overwhelming love...it's not that I'm wishing time away, more that I wish I had a 1950's wife to do the dull stuff and just leave the basking in adoration stuff to me!
