frozen soup and she'll have to make do with the cheap soft scoop raspberry ripple?

I have designs on that tub (its cookie dough which I've not had before)

OMG Cookie dough is the best

:) I like your style!

I have often done this with DH. The last time he even went off to our local ice-cream place at 11.30pm to get me some more because I told him it was apple sauce I'd frozen. Blush

cookielove · 15/08/2010 17:20

Cookie dough is the yummiest

bran · 15/08/2010 17:22

Constructive lying is the very essence of good parenting IMO. Grin

JuicyLips · 15/08/2010 17:26

loving it! yes, cookie dough is my ultimate favourite Ice Cream so its would be a justified lie imo.

Tee2072 · 15/08/2010 17:47

Absolutely not unreasonable!

Just like me not giving my son some of my Onion Baji the other day. Some things are just beyond a mother's ability to share. Grin

TrillianAstra · 15/08/2010 17:57

She wouldn't have appreciated it.

QS · 15/08/2010 17:59

It is utterly vile as far as ice creams go. It really tastes like cookie dough, ie, uncooked dough. You are doing her a favour.

Squitten · 15/08/2010 18:02

YANBU!

She won't possibly appreciate B&J's as much as you anyway. I had the Choc Brownie one last week - my son will pry it from my cold dead hands! Grin

sapphireblue · 15/08/2010 18:04

for cookie dough YABU. If it was phish food on the other hand......YWNBU

once a week, after work but before collecting DD, I make a solo trip to Tesco. I purchase a 2 bars of Green and Blacks, and a bag of wine gums. These are then spirited into the boiler cupboard, to be secretly consumed while DH and DD are otherwise engaged.

weegiemum · 15/08/2010 18:09

For me, it is Fizzy Cola Bottles (of any variety, but I am especially partial to Morrisons own brand!)

They go in my bedside drawer. I eat them (strictly one packet a week) when the children are at school.

Does the chocolate not melt in the boiler cupboard?

FloraFinching · 15/08/2010 18:12

nah - nice new condensing boiler, not a big airing cupboard/hot water tank jobbie.

Luckily.

StealthPolarBear · 15/08/2010 18:12

cookie dough and phish food mixed together are the best :o

SaliMali1 · 15/08/2010 18:18

Is Ben and Jerrys still on offer in Morrisons?

Chocolate Fudge Brownie flaver is my fave :o

PfftTheMagicDragon · 15/08/2010 18:18

I quite like cookie dough - I thought I wouldn't. We have a tub in the freezer. I do prefer HD pralines and cream though.

miracled · 15/08/2010 18:26

I lie all the time. One of my favourites is that McDonalds has burned down, but I've been rumbled as its now happened 3 times this year.

bran · 15/08/2010 18:28

My Green & Blacks lives in the veg drawer in the fridge. Nobody ever looks in there. Grin

montmartre · 15/08/2010 19:24

Heheh... I keep mine with the baking things... no-one else ever goes there.

Fossil Fuel is the best B&J though...

MrsChemist · 15/08/2010 19:29

PMSL at "McDonalds has burned down" Grin

bran · 15/08/2010 19:35

I told DS that there wasn't a McDonalds anywhere near where we live (after he'd tried it with his cousins in Malaysia). I'd completely forgotten that we actually drive right past one on the way to the supermarket. Blush I so nearly got away with it, but instead looked like a fool.

ChippingIn · 15/08/2010 19:39

I want ice cream now :(

Of course YANBU B&J is wasted on children!!

Bran - did you rescue it quickly - OMG look what they built when we were away???

morejuiceplease · 15/08/2010 19:41

I tell my dds that it's full of vegetables. Soon scares em off

nattiecake · 15/08/2010 19:42

YANBU so long as you promise to try half baked. its the bestest!! its a mixture of both cookie dough AND choc fudge brownie, all swirled together... nomnomnom!!!
