The ones whereby they interview celebrities giving opinions on other celebrities such as the current An audience with...Des O'connor (insert celeb). Also those shows about a particular celeb where everyone in celeb land has something wise to say about them.
Not sure why they make me cringe.
I guess I find it an excuse for the media to clap themselves on tha back about how wonderful they all are.

The original ''audience with'' looks like quite a good laugh.

The orignal shows were quite good... I only saw a couple though.

the ones you are talking about are cringe-worth though.

freddie starr was a really funny one. i agree with you though i hate those shows where celebrities fill up spaces giving their opinions too like 100 greatest type ones.

The only one I can really remember of the original series was the Ken Dodd one.

I was 10 or 11 I think. My gran let me stay up a bit later to watch it as a 'treat', haha!

YANBU!! I was just thinking about this today. It's really really naff cheap telly. I'm glad I don't watch it......Blush

O.K. Sometimes when there's nothing on....

I just wish they'd show an original without all the cringeworthy chat.
There are far too many such shows on TV. They patronise the viewer; we can make our own minds up and have opinions you know!

Ah! Landfill TV, the curse of modern telly. The usually marvellous Stuart Maconie must take much of the blame for their ubiquity, apparently.

They are shite.

I did watch the Take That one though to ogle Jason Orange listen to their lovely music.
