Because I know I will be woken very early as I have my 4 year old dn to stay, She is in with my dd but the sooner I go to bed the sooner the morning will come, I know she will be straight into me when she wakes.

She is lovely but very demanding so putting off going to bed,

YABabitU...
but I do exactly the same thing, trying to extended the peaceful gap between DCs going to bed and the time they reappear (full of beans) in the morning.
Only problem is that I am quite capable of delaying going to bed until 4am - which doesn't really help the following day.

Hope you manage to grab a good few hours of kip. Night Night.

Thank you pip I will be there for her 100% in the morning as I always am when she stays, Just having her tonight was a last minute thing and thought today was my last day of freedom, lol

Thank goodness for my lovely dd who offered to have her in with her tonight and went to bed very early on the condition that as soon as dn wakes she comes into me.
