Hi All,
You may remember some months ago I posted an AIBU about approaching DS's friends mum at nursery with a note to see if she wanted to get together for Playdates. I was very nervous about doing it for the first time but you were all so encouraging and supportive.
I just wanted to say that it has gone brilliantly, initially the first couple of 'dates' were very slightly strained due to trying to see what we as mothers had in common, other than the children, as obviously we had no mutual friends etc but we now meet up every couple of weeks and it is brilliant. Our DC's have loads of fun and I have found another friend and you can never have too many of those!
So thank you all so much wise mumsnetters, you are appreciated.
