I've had a cold for a couple of weeks - and now have a cough which kept me (and DP) awake last night - just as DD2 is starting to sleep through. I'm at home with DD1 (6 nearly 7) and DD2 (9 months). DD2 could do with a nap - so could I. If I go to bed with her chances are I'll not have tea ready for DP and DD1 will have to entertain herself. Should I go to bed????

I would put a DVD on for DD1 and go for a sleep

I flew in from Boston this morning on a night flight. Got about 30 minutes nap on theplane and about an hour catnapping during the drive home from heathrow to Sheffield.

I am shattered now but determined to see it through now til a reasonable bedtime, in the hope of combatting any jetlag.

8y DD is pretty quiet and snoozes, but doing best to keep her going too - she got a fair bit more on the plane and in the car anyway.

Hpever, yes - have a nap with the baby. Your 7y will be fine playing on her own for a little while. Could you ask her to wake you by a certain time?
