he is 10 ffs. Normal conversations are impossible, he is so verbally aggressive. I am at my wits end with him, nothing gets through.

YANBU .. Don't waste your breath trying to 'get through'. Simply ignore him unless he speaks to you nicely.

YANBU. Just say, "If you cant speak to me properly, dont speak at all. When you speak to me in a proper tone of voice, I will reply." And then if he continues, just blank him and walk away. Works for me(and my 10yo DS) x
