I get a high from a really good session in there, but an not sure how much money I'm actually saving as I end up with so many "bargains"! I spent £23 there today & I only went there to give DS a trip out in his pushchair & get some loo rolls!

I love it too!

I go so i dont spend much money, but everything is so cheap i just keep adding things to my basket and end up spending more than i would if i had gone to a more expensive shop Smile and most of it is clutter i can do without, i need to learn to resist a bargain Blush

Ooh no, YANBU. I end up coming away with all sorts of random ingredients that I'll never use, but they're SO cheap.

Tis fab, I agree. Between Home Bargains and The Works I can easily buy more than I can carry for a few quid.

Found some very cheap great stationery/children's fancy pencils etc in Wilkinsons at the moment too - have stocked up for random gifts/ChristmasBlush

I have 5 within 5 miles of my home. I went on the HB website & put my postcode in. How devoted is that?

9 months + 3 weeks ago I bought two pregnancy tests from home bargains & they both came up negative.

Guess how I know exactly how long ago that was. I've not bought anything there since...

ChippingIn · 09/08/2010 00:25

Oh bloody hell - I have to go and see if I have one near me now!!

ChippingIn · 09/08/2010 00:29

Phew - nearest one 62 miles....

Can now resist the urge Grin

midlandsmumof4 · 09/08/2010 00:30

YANBU. You can get all sorts of bits and bobs there, plus loads of discontinued things.

Housewife2010 · 09/08/2010 16:43

They had fab cupcake stands at my HB yesterday - v annoying as I'd spent £13 on a near identical one from Lakeland last year!

Oh home bargains is great! Wilkinsons also - got floating rubber duckie radios for all the teachers at xmas - £4 a time instead of the tenner had been about to pay online!
PS my max spend to date was £48!
Love it Smile
