after watching Police Camera Action tonight...

Totally not worth it. I'm one of those freaks that drives at (or under) the limit.

I'm a freak too - sticking stoically to the speed limit, usually with some tosspot trying to shove their shiny four-wheeled penis extension into my back bumper. Heavy footed drivers are my pet hat!

yanbu. Speed limits are there for a reason.

YANBU - I don't speed. Even when I'm in a rush, I keep thinking, what if someone steps out, or if a police car is round the corner. I just can't bring myself to do it.

Don't try to never speed again. Just don't ever speed again. Using the word "try" sounds like a handy opt-out clause - I know that's not what you meant, but I have absolute zero tolerance of speeders.

Its profoundly affected me.

I have 6 points and never thought I could ruin someones life by rushing.

I can't say I will never speed can I? I can't see into the future.

I can say I fully intend not to ever again...

Thats like saying I will never be unfaithful, I will never take drugs, I will never hurt anyone I love, I will never speak to him again etc etc - its completely unrealistic to say never....

I did kind of respect the guy who did it for having the guts to speak honestly on camera about it.

I don't obviously respect what he did.
