Sorry just need a rant.

Diagnosed with a anembryonic pregnancy earlier this week and went in for beginning of medically managed miscarriage yesterday, have had no bleeding etc and was expecting nothing to happen until tomorrow when I go back for pessaries etc.

Home alone with my 2 gorgeous children, as dh not due in till around 9pm. About an hour ago I went to loo and had started to bleed, was cleaning myself up while the children were playing- or so I thought.

Meanwhile they had managed to open stairgate and go upstairs into bathroom empty 2 bottles of shampoo into the bath and get in with all their clothes and shoes on (they did not have plug in thank goodness)

I just want to go to bed and wake up to find that this is all a bad dream, and this week has never happened.

Aww thats so rough for you I am so sorry. Can you go and have a good cry for 5 mins and then get your head together, take a deep breath and have a glass of wine?

I had a MC once when I had my 3 Dcs and DD's friend home for dinner.

Can you ring DH and ask him to come back early?

Hope you are ok..

Oh I'm so sorry for your lost baby. As for the children, well at least they're clean! Put the clothes in the wash, stuff their shoes with newspaper to dry them out and get them in their pyjamas to watch a dvd. Are they old enough to understand you're not feeling great? Get a takeaway, a bottle of wine and a big cuddle from dh when he comes in.

Here is a hug.

Do phone your DH and get him to come home early, this must count as an emergency?

YADNBU

Can you put a dvd on and give them an easy tea if you need to then bed?

Thanks so much for your replies, good old mn saves the day!

DH unfortunately travelling home and can't be home any quicker, I've rang him and had a few tears (along with a telling off - as if the stairgate had been fixed last week as I asked then this wouldn't have happened!)

Thankfully there was left over sausage casserole in fridge so that sorted their teas out!

Now I've just got to figure out what to wash their hairs with I suppose!

Fairy liquid- they'll find that funny! Thinking of you though, life is shit sometimes. My Granddad was present at my 1st mc and I was at my friends for the 2nd, it's not something you can help! Hope you feel better when dh gets home
