In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine, she said: "I think breastfeeding really helped [me keep my figure].

"Some people here [in the US] think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'

I think that she (or more likely her PR team) has just pulled off a lovely bit of media wrangling.

What she said is pretty extreme, but in a fairly wholesome way IYKWIM. She has brought herself (and BF as a side effect) into the spotlight, and got everyone talking about her - not a bad way for her to make a comeback after having a low key few months when pregnant.

In addition she has also instantly countered the skinny celebrity/bad role model/pressure on real women flak she would get from the tabloid/gossip press for being back modelling and slim so soon - because of course, she isn't on a fad diet/personal trainer regime - she's feeding her baby, no one can criticise that.

Either that or I am just a cynic and she is a bit of a mad fundie!

Yeah, she got her figure back in days (not weeks) just through the magic of breastfeeding - she'd better pray they don't make lying through your bleeding teeth illegal too...

when I was breast feeding I felt compelled to eat huge amounts of cake - thus it had the opposite effect = lardy arse

she only put on 30 lb so on her frame it was probably v easy to lose...she is over 6 foot.
