Do it.

But secretly have a spair pair of socks and shoes to put on at the end of the road.

sunndydays · 04/08/2010 08:44

I agree do it, it will show her you mean business and hopefully stop her messing you around next time!

gingernutlover · 04/08/2010 08:44

I just pretend to walk out the door and say "byeeeee I'm ready so I'm going" that always makes her put her shoes on quicker.

But YANBU, unless they are nice socks that you don't want ruined.

ChippingIn · 04/08/2010 08:45

Do it... better still, silently take her socks off, don't answer any questions...

LOL

Bloody hell, for taking her out without her shoes on when she's just being a little madam? I've done it in the snow!! Only needed to do it the once mind

I let DD play out in the garden in the rain in October stark naked once when she refused to get dressed. She lasted 3 minutes before she was back complaining it was cold and she wanted some clothes on

ChippingIn · 04/08/2010 10:35

Yep - sometimes they just have to learn for themselves - 30 years on, some of us are still the same

seeker · 04/08/2010 10:39

And anyway, bare feet in the rain is lovely!
