to think that Jeremy Paxman is hotter than hot?

I know I might get flamed for this but seriously I have been having thoughts about Jeremy and what it might be like to be Mrs Paxman? Am I losing it altogether? Also quite hot on Mark Austin? What's wrong with me? Anyone else have such feelings?

Goodness, no, YANBU about Paxo.

(Though I'm justified in feeling this way, it's me age y'know!).

For the benefit of all those who are pointing and laughing at me, I also have Frank Lampard on my pwoar list.

Glitterknickaz · 03/08/2010 23:37

ooooh I feel quite poorly....

Ladyanonymous · 03/08/2010 23:37

I think I'm going to puke....

YANBU

I have a signed photo of Jeremy that I got on eBay a couple of years ago. I waited frantically thinking there would be a bidding war. There wasn't, it was 2.50! I love him. If you want to be even more impressed, read Through The Volcanoes a travel book he wrote years ago. He sounds soooo dashing in it.

Yes, it is sad but the man is fantastic. My obsession started with the "did you threaten to overrule him..." Newsnight interview. YouTube if you haven't seen it!

scurryfunge · 03/08/2010 23:40

He is as appealing as a ResusciAnnie

Will definitely be checking those out Katey1010! You are lucky to have a signed picture, I would put it in a frame on my nightstand although dh might object. "Did you threaten to overrule him....." is classic. Paxo is just so masterful, if only there were more men like him .

YANBU - Paxo's a Sex god and his book 'Friends in High Places' was a real eye-opener.

Katey1010 · 04/08/2010 00:12

The picture is framed but not allowed in the bedroom! DH thinks I'm mental. I will check out Friends in High Places.

I like him a lot but went off him when he started complaining about M&S pants "not offering the same amount of support as they used to."

This is for two reasons:

  1. Lack of common sense. I could say the same about bras. But actually it is my boobs that need more support than they used to, not the bras that have changed.
  1. He clearly suffers from Old Man's Dangly Bollocks. Oh dearie dearie me!
TartyMcFarty · 04/08/2010 09:19

YANBU. Yummy!

MissWooWoo · 04/08/2010 09:24

YABVVVVU

BrigitBigKnickers · 04/08/2010 09:32

Oh Yuk no- imagine running your hand through his brillo pad hair!

2kids2dogsandahorse · 04/08/2010 09:38

No he's lush [drool] although I have to warn you that I've met him in RL and he is an absolutely charming and v interesting man as well as looking extremely sex goddish but has a very long body and very very short legs

But he does have that look that makes you feel he knows exactly what you look like with no clothes on and wants to actually see [shiver]

OliviaMumsnet · 04/08/2010 09:42

YANBU

I really warmed to him when he did Who Do You Think You Are and cried over his poor grandmother's or great-grandmother's life, the terrible poverty and ill-treatment she endured. Looked like some of the facts he uncovered had opened his eyes a bit and challenged his assumptions about worklessness.

Don't find him attractive except very slightly in that intellectual confidence way.

LucyLouLou · 04/08/2010 14:13

What on Earth is it about this man that some women find attractive?! One of my friends confessed to an embarrassing crush on him once and was rightly ridiculed for it! So bizarre, but then I guess we all find different people attractive....!
