I have my period for the 2nd time since DS arrived. I feel completely shit, it is so heavy I feel like my insides are falling out

DH going away tomorrow and I should really be getting the house tidied so I can have an easier time, but I have spent all day MNing and mooching while the kids play in front of me and watch/listen to DVDs... AIBU?

YANBU and have some chocolate

sapphireblue · 02/08/2010 15:42

YANBU. You need chocolate and wine and a nice hot bath.

LostArt · 02/08/2010 15:44

You'll probably make a dogs dinner of everything you try to do anyway. Keep mooching.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 02/08/2010 15:44

YANBU - isnt it like the law to do nothing for at least a day while your on your Period? Especially horrible heavy ones.

onepieceoflollipop · 02/08/2010 15:46

YANBU. You will probably feel so much better tomorrow even if your dh is away. Could he get some jobs done later (or pick up an easy dinner on the way home even?)

MathsMadMummy · 02/08/2010 16:09

leftovers for tea tonight and I've already got some bung-in-the-oven stuff for meals while he's away... and chocolate etc

mine have been parading around in their underpants all day picking up bits of lego and dropping them randomly around the house. My excuse is 24-hour morning sickness so can't even eat chocolate. You can have my ration.

MathsMadMummy · 02/08/2010 18:36

oh you poor thing morning sickness is awful
I actually managed some housework for an hour... but LostArt was right - I dropped cold onion sauce all over the floor, yuk!
