Sorry long. Rang 2 fast fit companies for tyre quote. Both similar so went with slightly more convenient one. When I got there I was told they got size wrong at that not many tyres availabl in that size. Offered a tyre which was on offer at other garage. I asked if they could match priced. Instead offered me another make for same price which I accepted. When I went to pay they offered me an accidental damage warrantly on tyre at £10. When i got home I realised that the tyre they put on should have had this cover included in price.
So I decided to check tyre price on their website and I did pay slightly less than the quoted online price. However, I also saw a price match gurarantee so I could have paid for the dearer tyre ang got a refund on difference.
Would you report or let it go?

But the point is you didn't go for that tyre did you.Unless the brand you bought is cheaper from the other garage,I don't see how you can argue a case?

Surely though they sholud firstly honoured the original quotes prices and they should not have bumped another £10 on the price for a warranty which should have been included in the quoted price of the tyre. I believe they also should have told me about price match policy as I made them aware that I could obtain better known tyres for a much keener price.
