To expect that the garage servicing my car reset security code to radio when they disconnect it.

Make sure that you know were the code is recorded in the cars handbook before you send car to garage. It is usually on a credit card sized card in a folder in the Glove box.

Am I getting this right, they dissconnected the radio? why would they need to do this?

Mine don't do this, but there is always some cheesy radio station programmed in when I pick it up!

Ours does that if you fiddle with the battery or electrics. They should reset it for you though
