As in, after this one, in which I contemplate my own mortality.

DD slept on her own for the first time in her entire life last night

I was awake and stressing and thinking grim thoughts, so thought I might put the incomnia to some use and attempt a bit of Gina Ford gentle discouragement from the co-sleeping.

And it worked. She did a whole 90 minutes asleep in her cot.

AIBU to keep posting crap like this?

Not being unreasonable. I seem to remember 'sleep' and related topics being very top of mind when my DS was a baby. Luckily I was blessed with a child/dormouse cross and co-sleeping was never on the cards. Mind you, the day when he slept for a full 10 hours I was rather tempted to hold a mirror over his nose and see if he'd died in the night...
