Hi I have a 14 year old son who never does anything without having to be told or asked at least 3 times, He just came downstairs and informed me he was gonna hoover and tidy the living room, not sure what he is after but I am scared, Should I be suspicious?

definitely-be afraid-be very very afraid!

BeenBeta · 23/07/2010 18:59

He has a girlfriend and wants to bring her round. Enjoy the moment, but start worrying if he tidies his bedroom.

colditz · 23/07/2010 19:00

he wants to go to a party, it's 30 miles away, and he will be requiring a lift home.

JaxTellersOldLady · 23/07/2010 19:02

he definitely wants something. money/a lift/new clothes

muggglewump · 23/07/2010 19:04

He wants to go to a festival, and wants you to fund it.

ragged · 23/07/2010 19:08

He dropped his iphone in the toilet this morning.

Monty100 · 23/07/2010 19:09

Is your or his phone bill due?

ponceydog · 23/07/2010 19:10

his mates are planning to go camping in a field and he wants to go with them

ladydeedy · 23/07/2010 19:36

I for one am desperate to know!

Mowiol · 23/07/2010 19:45

Hmmm - is his school report due?

sapphireblue · 23/07/2010 19:47

oh God.........his girlfriend's pregnant!

ocdgirl · 23/07/2010 19:49

fgs can't he just be being nice ? right i'm off back to my bubble now coz i've got 9 years before i have to deal with a moody teenager lol

YouKnowNothingoftheCrunch · 23/07/2010 19:50

His girlfriend's pregnant, when he found out he dropped his phone in the toilet, in a fit of panic he arranged to go to a festival, party and orgy.

Oh and he got a d in English. But that is now the least of your worries

Be afraid, be very afraid.

caramelwaffle · 23/07/2010 19:51

Yes. He. Wants. Something.

alfiethekittycat · 23/07/2010 20:00

Just had a nose on his facebook, im not on there but DD let me look on hers, it seems he has been invited to a birthday celebration at Thorpe Park by the BF of my niece, guess he wants money for that, I would have given it to him anyway but the longer the helpfullness goes on the better,
Just hope it is that and nothing else lol

He's hidden his school report, and he's realised they're emailing it to you tomorrow.

alfiethekittycat · 23/07/2010 22:42

I wish it was about hi hiding his school report lol, something happened on the way to school on monday which resulted in him being off tues and wed so no school report, this was serious but nothing to do with him being the model son now,

OP posts:
Monty100 · 23/07/2010 22:52

Go on, what's he done?

alfiethekittycat · 23/07/2010 23:01

What happened on Monday wasn't his fault, He was mugged for his phone on the way to school and was sprayed in the face with what we believe was some sort of pepper spray, spent all day at the hospital checking eyes out as he has probs with his eyes already, no permenant damage done thankfully.

OP posts:
Monty100 · 23/07/2010 23:02

Has he just told you this tonight?

alfiethekittycat · 23/07/2010 23:14

no i found this out when he was banging on the door 10 minutes after he left for school on monday with his eyes streaming and in a real state which is why I took him to the docs who sent us to the hospital, thankfully this hasnt done any serious damage, although this isnt what my thread is aboiut.

Aww. Ds went with school last week. It was £36! and £10 for when he was there.

But they're worth it. Sometimes.....
