DS broke up on Tuesday and i am already pulling my hair out !!

Took him to a local monkey sanctuary on Wednesday
Spent some time at the park and read magazines and did word puzzles yesterday
Today Went over to se GP as it was my DM's birthday.

DS is very energetic and sometimes he behaviour is terrible i think i will slowly go mad!
But i dont know how to keep DS 4.10 occupied all holiday??

Any suggestions?? Cheap or free things if possible

I feel your pain

Today we have done cooking and play-doh.

Other things that we have planned include...

More cooking - dd loves to bake and make pizzas for tea.

Local soft play (small and cheap)

Picnics in the park when weather good enough

Off to see Toy Story next week

Dd is also very energetic, and needs to go out everyday...we walk or she cycles into our town most days.

Do you have neighbours that you could share childcare with - I find it a whole less hassle to have next door's son round as they entertain each other!

I bet your local library has some story time sessions, some competitions etc on in the hols

give him a big bucket of water and let him wash outdoor toys like cars, see saw, slide etc if you have any - my DS loves that job!

bake

make playdough

go to cinema/circus

do a treasure hunt in the park or garden

watch some DVDs on rainy days, with popcorn and the curtains shut

met some friends for a picnic at the park/beach

go swimming

Was thinking getting some things at the weekend so we can bake things. Was thinking of taking DS to the cinima to see this but not sure weather he could sit down and shut up for that long lol.

Think we might get some proper use out of his new bike this summer, if the weather says nice that is.

Don't worry about it - insanity's not that bad really.
