ooh no YANBU it's so lovely when they fall asleep on you! normally it's DS who does it (nearly 11m) after a BFeed but yesterday after insisting she wasn't tired my just-3yo fell asleep on me for a couple of hours. it was so nice! can't deny I was glad to have the laptop next to me though

dinkystinky · 23/07/2010 14:57

YANBU - cuddle away!

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 14:59

still asleep
Not for long i'd think - i'm opening her mouth, trying to see her new tooth!

Aww. NBU at all.

I wish my 2 year old would fall asleep on me!

MathsMadMummy · 23/07/2010 15:06

these years go by too quickly as it is, make the most of 'em I say

EasilyConfusedIndith · 23/07/2010 15:11

I need a baby. Mine are far too big and messy. Course YANBU. YABU for going back to work though.

muggglewump · 23/07/2010 15:12

I somehow read that as you were having a dump in your kitchen.

missnevermind · 23/07/2010 15:14

I hope my child looks back on today
And sees a mother who had time to play.
There will be years for cleaning and cooking,
But children grow up when you?re not looking.
Tomorrow I?ll do all the chores you can mention
But today, my baby needs time and attention.
So settle down cobwebs; dust go to sleep,
I?m cuddling my baby, and babies don?t keep.

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 15:15

eww no muggg, the rubbish needs removing but it's not that bad!
indith, babies are lovely, as i'm sure you don't need me to tell you. Go on, go on...I'm not having any more so i need other people to fulfil my residual broodiness

RGPargy · 23/07/2010 15:16

awwww how lovely!

MathsMadMummy · 23/07/2010 15:17

AAAAHHHH missnevermind thank you so much for posting that! I'd seen it online once and could only remember the last bit, couldn't find it again, thanks

EasilyConfusedIndith · 23/07/2010 15:18

Yes but my "baby" needs to sleep for more than 2 hours at a time before I contemplate another one. I'll just borrow yours, she knows i'm a mug who will walk her round the room likes me.

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 15:19

mines not going to be a baby much longer

RGPargy · 23/07/2010 15:50

My baby isn't a baby anymore She's all grown up at 2.5 yrs old!!

nagoo · 23/07/2010 15:56

definitely YANBU...

but don't you have something more important to worry about?

StealthPolarBear · 23/07/2010 16:01
