I can't handle it. And when I ask them to turn it down they tell me to sort my own kid out because he has special needs.

My kid isnt running about the street on his own at 10/11 at night, he is in bed by 7 bhut cant sleep because of them.

grow up

Report them the your local council, making noises including car horns after 7:30 deliberately is an offence under the road traffic act I believe.

So no, YANBU.

My parents have a similiar problem. I am currently staying with them, we have a group of children playing outside, at the moment, yelling at the top of their voices. and some don't even live on this street!! surely we should be able to watch TV, after 9pm and have the windows open!!!!

Agree with whomovedmy - report them. If you've asked them and they were so delightful in their response then a little chat with the council would help, hopefully.

YANBU

At our old house our neighbor used to watch Coronation Street at full volume, while he sat out in the garden watching it

He also used to spend 2 hours hoovering mowing his lawn at 8am every bloody Saturday.

Def report them. We've got new neighbors now that think that sitting outside their front door smoking and chatting at 2am is perfectly acceptable (it's a really quiet cul-de-sac and they're basically under out bedroom window)

thanks everyone...I'm seething...I think it's pathetic really and when I confronted them they said, it's the kids...yes, YOUR kids love!
