My mum has been doing all my washing and ironing it!
It's great. Think my washing machine is going to be broken for some time!

If mine accidently on purpose got somehow damaged, do you think your mum would do all my family's too?!

Still broken? Shall I come round and kick it?

millimurphy · 20/07/2010 15:36

Anyway, why can't mum do my ironing and washing...?

AmazingBouncingFerret · 20/07/2010 16:05

My washing machine packed up last week. I managed to get the sudsy clothes out and took them round to my mum to rinse and spin them in her machine. She said to leave them and she'd put them in the garden to dry.

The next day I went round to pick up the clothes as they were dh's work shirts and I was worried about getting them ironed and my mum was there with a load of coathangers. she said "oh you were quick, I was just about to iron them for you" and handed over the bag. .

Lucky you. My washing machine is broken at the moment, and I am washing all the clothes in the bath, wringing them out, and pegging them on the line.
