I am so hot I would gladly shave my head, DD (6 months) is still awake when she is usually asleep by 7 and it's like a sauna in our house. There are flying ants and the neighbours are playing very loud music again so I can't have the windows open as the noise drives me crackers

RAIN DAMN YOU !!!!

Nooooo! I love this heat, it's like being on holiday every day!

notnowbernard · 19/07/2010 21:43

YABU

It's called Summer

WHY are the British so weird about the weather?! 6m ago we were all whingeing about the snow...

tethersend · 19/07/2010 21:45

YANBU. Hate the heat. Have invented my own version of SAD. I call it HAPPY.

Hot And Pretty Pissed off? Yes.

TheMoonOnAStick · 19/07/2010 21:48

Ooh no sorry yabu! I LOVE this heat too. I hope it lasts for months! It does feel like a holiday

The weather this year has been great. Nice cold winter with lovely snow, now this, a proper summer. Everything as it should be. Not endless months of flat grey rain rain rain until you have no idea what time of year it is. So depressing - but what we usually get.

HeadFairy · 19/07/2010 21:52

Plus I'm saving a fortune on laundry... ds spends most of the day naked in the garden!

QueeferSutherland · 19/07/2010 21:57

YABU!

Don't you remember the winter!

Have a magnum!

Fibilou, do you live in the same row of houses as me?!?! Our house too is boiling, our neighbours play loud music and we have lots flying ants!!

I do love the summer, but it would be nice to be able to have the windows open so that it would be cooler in DDs room, without her being kept awake by neighbours!

funnysinthegarden · 19/07/2010 22:01

aye too hot here in CI. Twas 28 degrees today. Thank god I'm not at work until Thursday.

And fly's/flies EVERYWHERE

tethersend · 19/07/2010 22:02

I love winter.

stressheaderic · 19/07/2010 22:14

Yes, I am in Liverpool. And it's still freezing....

Might have to move down south - love summer, hate winter, get very very bad SAD. Shame could only afford very small shoebox

CoinOperatedGirl · 19/07/2010 22:51

I'm luxuriating in a hot summer where I am not heavily pregnant, I was massive in 2003 and 2006, the hottest summers in the past few years.

Still a bit sick of it though, lots of nice breezy 23 degree days will do me, none of your 28+ nonsense.

moggiek · 19/07/2010 23:14

I've had the central heating on today in Ayrshire!
