to be an emotional mess about the last week of school?

I just had a really good cry - am I being a complete Twunt?

My 3rd and youngest/last child is leaving First School on Friday. I really really love his school (apart from the cake sale ) and I have been going there every day for 8 years, since he was 6 mnths old.

In addition to this my eldest child leaves Middle School on Friday and goes up to High School in Sep and I feel really about him becoming a teenager and maybe the loss of his innocence.

I work with teenagers so maybe I feel a bit weird about him hitting the same ago of the clients I wiork with (knowing what they get up to).

I also leave my job which I have really really loved on Friday as I have a new post as of September.

All these endings are good and positive but AIBU to feel a bit and ?

Not at all, my eldest leaves pre-school on Tuesday and I get choked up thinking about it. I've already blubbed at his big school visit and on Friday as it was his last proper day at pre-school as Tues is a leaving party... sob!

Have surprised myself and I know he is sooooo ready for school and I'm excited for him to be going but... .... where's my baby gone???!

I know...I want my babies back (sort of ).

His (DC3) leavers assembly is on Tues and I think I am going to blub and be a bit of a mess .

Argh I'm a sentimental old fool...
