Surely someone must win it? It doesn't have to be the big prize, just a couple of hundred thou' would do!

DH says IABU and says I would also need to actually buy a ticket.

Has anyone ever won anything on the lottery?

Should I continue my job hunting?

YANBU, although I think you should continue with the job hunting. Just to give you something to do until you win those millions.
I haven't won the lottery, but by sister won a car that she sold and it paid for a deposite on her first house. It was a long time ago though.

OP-I sometimes do that-never get around to buying a ticket though!

do it online, much easier! plus no chance of losing your ticket. I do this too OP. I've won a couple of tenners and thats about it so far.

YANBU. Every week my investment portfolio is (sorry mean includes) the lottery.

Sometimes I divert my investments into scratchcards.

I'm basing mine on DH's big payout for some shares he has, that aren't even worth anything on paper....

I even look at houses
